About the role:
In this newly created Commercial Officer role you will report into the Head of/Commercial Manager and sit within the Construction, Design & Quality Team, working very closely with the wider Development team across Guinness. This role will assist the team by providing commercial expertise in the support of high-quality developments, ensuring projects run to established budgets with accurate and timely reporting of budget variance, providing advice on mitigation where necessary.
What we’re looking for:
You’ll need to be experienced building and construction professional able to support with the development projects by assessing scheme costs and supporting the team to meet or exceed programmed delivery of new schemes through effective tendering and appointment of contractors and manage and monitor the network of consultants, suppliers and contractors. We’re a customer-focussed organisation so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. Above all you’ll be highly motivated with great stakeholder management, excellent customer service skills and willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done!
