WISH London Winter News 2022

It has been a great few months having hosted two in-person events. It has been a joy to see so many of our members and connect with new and familiar faces.

WISH London Winter News 2022

Since our last newsletter WISH London has said farewell to Tracey McEachran as Chair which was celebrated at the Christmas Event.  We also said farewell to Kemi Oguntoye who helped WISH London through her work via Young WISH.

We have welcomed our new Co-chairs Hony Premlal and Kathryn Gundry and a new Vice Chair Jacqueline Adusei.

We also recruited 5 new Board Members;

We would love to introduce and welcome our new board members who can’t wait to meet everyone at our next events:

Keep an eye on the events page and WISH London socials for more information.

It has been a great few months having hosted two in-person events. It has been a joy to see so many of our members and connect with new and familiar faces.

Our Christmas event was a great success with 100 tickets sold over a week before the event. The event was sponsored by Adecco and raised money for a great charity, Shelter with guest speaker Polly Neate – Chief Executive. We raised over £600 for charity, thanks to everyone's support!!!

WISH London held another successful event recently, hosted by our wonderful sponsors JLL. It was a live event at JLL’s London offices with interesting speakers focusing on “Getting the Balance Right”.  Our London board WISH hosts for this event were Frances Young and Theresa Mohammed. It was so lovely to see new and more seasoned members all mixing in a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The event was a great opportunity to meet and share experiences. Thanks to our fantastic speakers for making it a memorable event.

So, as you can see, we have had another fantastic year, bringing women together to build their professional network. 2023 will see us continue a blended approach, even looking towards hybrid events, we hope that you will join us and continue to help us expand your community of professional women. Our program will be diverse, interesting, and inclusive; this will cover personal development, self-worth, well-being, and relevant issues across the industry.

Let’s kick off January with positive mindsets and look at our new year's resolutions and how this will work with our home, family, and work life.

We have a few goodbyes as we wish Tracey McEachran well as she moves into a new chapter of her career. Tracey, you will be missed, and thank you for all the support and charisma. We are sure we will see you at events and your involvement in WISH will continue.
